In 2017, Decanter magazine chose Babel Budapest as the best international restaurant, evaluating our bold and unique wine-pairing concept based on food and the balance that exists exclusively with white wines and champagnes.

The principles of balance-based pairing were developed by our previous Executive Head Sommelier Péter Blazsovszky over the years, in close cooperation with the Chefs. Even today, the same principle applies to our Hungarian wine pairing.
